Dr. Riina

Growing up, Dr. Riina was terrified of going to the dentist. She hopes to be able to alleviate this fear for her patients so going to the dentist is easy and stress-free. For Dr. Riina, the most rewarding part of the job is being able to provide patients with a positive dental experience and help them overcome their fears. After completing dental school at Temple University and her general practice residency at Tufts University, Dr. Riina practiced as a general dentist for five years, but knew she wanted to make the switch to pediatric dentistry. She completed her pediatric residency at Temple University and is a proud board-certified pediatric dentist. She strives to keep up with the latest developments in pediatric dentistry and treats every patient with compassion, as she would treat one of her children.

Dr. Riina loves spending time with her husband, two sons, and two dogs. They enjoy getting out into nature for hiking, camping, traveling, and volunteering to better the environment and underprivileged communities.

Dr. Jacob

Dr. Jacob was born and raised in Philly and knew that he wanted to become a dentist since high school. He attended Temple University for his undergraduate work and went on to Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry. Dr. Jacob had the honor of being the Chief Resident during his Pediatric Dental Residency program which was also through Temple University. Dentistry gives Dr. Jacob the opportunity to meet new people and get to know his patients and their families while helping them on their path to dental health. For Dr. Jacob, it is important to educate and include the whole family during treatment to build a more substantial foundation for dental health. He takes pride in being trustworthy and approachable and hopes that his patients will feel that they can come to him with any problem. Community outreach is important to Dr. Jacob as he helped lead and organize a Rise Against Hunger food packaging event and went to Jamaica on a mission trip to provide free dental care to the local villages in the area.

When he is not in the office, he can be found at the basketball court or at Eagles, Sixers, and Phillies games. As an avid adventure seeker, Dr. Jacob has jumped off cliffs and out of planes, traveled through Europe, and hiked through the forests of India, but none of that compares to his next great adventure: Dr. Jacob is happy to announce that he recently got engaged and plans to get married next year.
